WRGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Wrightsville Beach held its first farmers’ market of the season today.
The famers’ market is held every Monday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. next to the Wrightsville Beach Town Hall off Causeway Drive.
The market features dozens of local vendors selling several things including produce, flowers, and handcrafted goods.
The market is also a great way to learn about local small businesses. Betty Simuut is the owner of Campana Bags based out of Wilmington.
She said the market has helped her business reach more customers.
“I work with leather. That’s the only material I use. I design and make all my products. I make bags, sleek bags, fanny packs, all kinds of bags,” she said.
The farmers market will run until December 2.
